New Beginnings, An Introduction.

Well, folks, as it does, life has gone and changed on us once again. Change can be difficult, uncomfortable and unwelcome. Or, it can be accepted, embraced and rolled with, you know, like punches...

Anyhow, for years now, Michele Roberts (aka Mom) and I (aka Lauren) have been fantasizing and talking and waxing philosophical about getting out of town, getting out to a farm where we can grow our own food, raise animals, plant an orchard, and host weddings. We've blown a hole in the atmosphere with all of our hot air about sustainability and self-reliance.

So here we are, putting our money where our mouths used to be. We are just two ladies, with little clue and a lot of mettle. And of course, these five gorgeous acres.

We're learning as we go, trying new things, coping with some failures, and celebrating some successes.

So far, we have a name: Paper Moon Farm.

I hope you'll follow us as we progress through our infancy and our undertakings.
